Connect, 2017

Project: A prototype garment for lovers and/or family members in a distance relationship
Responsibilities: Concept and Experience Design, Sketching, Prototyping, Graphic Design, Product Design, Fashion Design, Electronic Assembly, Coding, Media Production

By connecting over Skype, the wearable enables the users to send warmth and hugs. Through soft pressure sensors, warming pads, latex bubbles and a small air pump, the piece reacts to ones touch and transmits it abroad. I delivered the design research, created the concept and designed the garment that I produced and assembled myself.
